Hello! I’m Tara. My goal as a therapist is to create a relaxed, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel safe to be yourself. I value your needs and goals and work collaboratively with you to build on your strengths and overcome obstacles. Ultimately, my goal is to help you feel empowered to make the changes you desire in your life.
About Me
I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Governors State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies. My background allows me to blend clinical expertise with strong interpersonal communication, creating a therapeutic experience that is both effective and engaging.
I work with children, adolescents, and young adults who are navigating a wide range of challenges, including depression, anxiety, ADHD, emotional regulation, trauma, self-esteem issues, relationship difficulties, time management, adjustment concerns, and major life transitions.
I’m known for being outgoing, empathetic, and positive, and I strive to bring warmth and understanding to each session. Whether you’re going through a difficult time or looking to grow personally, I’m here to support you every step of the way. I offer in person therapy or telehealth sessions.
